Bathroom Remodel and Tile Upgrade
This project included a bathroom remodel complete with tiling, flooring, and new installations. As always, bathroom renovations require a certain sense of allure and demeanor. It is one of the places in any home that speaks about the personality of the owner. This client specifically wanted to imbue the bathroom with a sense of elegance, class, and luxury without killing the magic of simplicity.
Our job was well cut out to bring this dream to reality. With the advent of augmented and virtual reality, it is easy to simulate this, but bringing it to life is another thing.
In this case, the client went for a grayscale theme, albeit closer to the contemporary chiffon appeal. The trick to pulling off this look lies in how each item in the room complements the design and color palette. We advised the client to use matching solid brass showerheads, minimalist faucets, and a classical mosaic floor finish. As you would expect, the outcome was immaculate.
As for the process, we started by gutting down existing flooring and tiling works, installing all the plumbing and HVAC groundwork. This process requires a great level of attention to prevent damage to the pipework.
We also installed two rainmaker showerheads complemented by handheld shower heads on either side. The highlight of the section was the freestanding soaker tub at the far end of the bath. You can say that the goal ought to have been turning the bathroom into a lover’s paradise.
The client also wanted a vanity bathroom featuring custom drawers, a sink, mirror, and faucets. The detailing of each ensured that the element of elegance and functionality blended to good effect. The natural wood color on the vanity drawers provided the point of contrast that any bathroom renovation project can benefit from.
We capped the final installation with mosaic flooring and two large transparent glasses for the partition. The flooring choice was all about keeping up with the theme while still giving the decorative element the same level of class and modern appeal that it was screaming for.
